In recent years, powerpoint has been widely used in the classroom. There is an increasing demand for lectures to be presented using presentation software such as powerpoint.
Powerpoint is a presentation software program which is part of the microsoft office package. A powerpoint presentation is delivered in the form of slidesows which accompany the oral delivery of the topic, this is frequently used in businesses, training sessions for personal use and in the classroom.
Powerpoint enhances the lesson or lecture as animations, videos, graphs, images and sound can be added to presentations by the click of a button. This type of presentation can also be saved and easily refined and reused in follwing years.
A powerpoint presentation displays the main points of the lesson, this ensures that student spend more time listening to the teacher rather than jotting down paragraphs of notes.
Indeed there is a growing demand for the use this type of presentation. I am know learning how to go about doing a power point presentation and it does aide in reinforcement of important points on topics covered.
